Taking Chances: How Alopecia Led Me to Functional Health and Healing

Georgetown Tidal Tales is a non-profit dedicated to the art of storytelling as a path to healing, connection, and community. Three times a year, they host a performance-based storytelling event at Winyah Auditorium, each time supporting a local nonprofit in our community.

I was honored to be chosen to share my story at their February event, “Taking Chances.” It was the first time I publicly spoke about my journey with alopecia and how it sparked my passion for functional health. Sharing this story in front of a live audience was emotional, vulnerable, and deeply eye-opening.

This week, I’m inviting you to Take a Chance as well. Watch my story and consider sharing it with someone who might need to hear this message.
